The National Democratic Congress (NDC)'s communicator, Dela Edem Coffie, has responded to the Special Prosecutor for issuing a warrant of arrest for him.
The outspoken party communicator says the act by the OSP is reckless.
A notice issued on Friday, June 3, and signed by Kissi Agyebeng said his office has caused the issuance of a warrant of arrest for the suspect.

“The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has caused the issuance of a warrant of arrest for [Dela Coffie] whose pictorial representation appears below. [He] claims to be a manager of political communications.
“Charges; corruption and corruption-related offences, and forgery of official document,” the statement said.
But Dela Coffie also in a counter press release insists he is a law-abiding citizen and will fight the allegations against him.
He said his lawyers will engage the OSP on the matter legally.
“However, let me state that the recklessness with which the Special Prosecutor will jump to issue an arrest warrant without any recourse to me as rules of engagement injunct his office to do, will be subjected to appropriate judicial review.”
“My lawyers have taken the matter up, and we will deal with the issues head-on.”
Dela Coffie also stated that he is in Ghana to fight the case.
"I want to state that I am available right here in Ghana and will submit myself to any queries of law enforcement agencies as I have nothing to hide."
