With a voice anointed in grace and a heart devoted to pure worship, Ronica Sings, born Veronica, has spent over two decades ministering through music that uplifts, inspires, and draws listeners closer to God.
Her journey into gospel music began long before her name became known.
At just twelve years old, Ronica would gather neighbourhood children to sing and perform as though they were on television—a glimpse of a divine calling already at work in her life.
By the age of 15, she had joined her church choir, where her gift for worship began to flourish. Her passion, sincerity, and depth of expression soon became unmistakable.
What started as youthful enthusiasm matured into a lifelong ministry devoted to glorifying God through music and testimony.
Ronica’s professional journey took root in Toronto, where she recorded her first project alongside lead guitarist Paa Joe.
In 2002, she released her debut album, Se Me Kai—meaning “When I Remember”—in Ottawa.
The launch was graced by Ghanaian highlife legend Jewel Ackah and a Juno Award–winning band, introducing her ministry to the North American gospel scene in a remarkable way.
Her calling led her across Canada and the United States, where she ministered in churches and gospel gatherings, using her music to touch countless lives.
Her sophomore album, In His Presence (2012), and the third, Breakout (2014)—produced in Houston—further cemented her as a dynamic voice in contemporary worship.
That same year, her excellence was recognised when she was crowned Singer of the Year at Alberta’s prestigious Obsidian Awards.
In 2025, Ronica re-emerged with renewed vigour, releasing a spirit-filled remix of her timeless worship anthem “Enye Wo”, originally written in 2000.
The new rendition, featuring the acclaimed gospel minister Piesie Esther, revives the beloved song for a new generation of believers.
Her subsequent releases, including “Covenant Keeping God” and “Yeshua Hamashiach”, have reaffirmed her commitment to creating music that magnifies God’s name and ministers to the soul.
Now, on November 1, 2025, Ronica Sings unveiled her latest single, “Yahweh Reigns”—a powerful declaration of God’s sovereignty and faithfulness.
The song blends her signature soulful worship with lyrical depth, serving as both a personal testimony and a collective anthem of praise.
From humble beginnings in her local church to ministering on international platforms, Ronica Sings continues to embody authenticity, perseverance, and unshakable faith.
Through every note, she reminds the world that true worship transcends performance—it is a divine calling.
Her message remains as powerful as ever: “It’s not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit.”
