The dismissed Media Relations Manager for the National Health Insurance Authority, Akwesi Acquah says he is contemplating legal action against his former employers over his removal.
Mr. Acquah was shown the exit Wednesday for allegedly vacating post for 30 days, a claim he has denied.
He says he was away for only two weeks but that was after management refused to provide a chair for his office, a situation he complained about since his transfer to the head office in January.
Mr. Acquah suspects he was removed for other reasons quite apart from what has been stated.
“Clearly I have began speaking to my lawyers for us to look at this case in totality,” he said.
He added management gave no recourse to the memos he sent in which he reminded them of the deplorable conditions at the Regional office of the Authority.
