Ghana's U-20 team will start off the qualifying campaign for the 2013 Africa Youth Championship in the first round stage later in July.
The Black Satellites will travel away to play the winner of the Mozambique vs Uganda on the weekend of 27-29 July in the first leg match as both sides compete in the preliminary round.
Ghana will host the return clash in Accra on the weekend of 10-12 August.
The qualifying round will end in October 2012 ahead of the Championship to be hosted by Algeria the following year.
The Black Satellites won a hat-trick of titles including the U-20 Africa and World Cups both in 2009 but failed to reproduce the same feat last year.
