Ghanaian singer, Diana Hamilton, shared her personal journey of success, emphasizing the critical importance of embracing every opportunity presented.
The renowned musician shared this powerful motivational speech at the just-ended Band Experience in Manchester, UK.
Hamilton recounted her own breakthrough moment in a choir, where she unexpectedly filled in for a lead soprano and was immediately recognized for her talent.
"Never underestimate any opportunity you get," she told the audience, "because you don't know where it will land you."
The singer stressed the significance of service, dedication, and faith, encouraging musicians to give their best in every situation.

"Take every opportunity given to you. Give it your best and watch God do the rest," Hamilton advised.
Her message extended beyond musical performance, highlighting the value of networking and building relationships within the industry.
She urged participants to connect with fellow artists and make meaningful connections that could potentially advance their careers.

The event, which took place in Manchester on November 1, 2025, is an annual music workshop that goes beyond performance and production, offering a complete ecosystem for learning, mentorship, and growth.

This edition featured the ICE Awards (InterCultural Creative Excellence Awards), designed to recognize distinguished individuals who have made significant contributions to Manchester's arts community.
Honorary awards were presented to Pastor Richard Grant, co-founder of Warehouse Worship UK; vocalist Ezekiel Omosebi; international music director and show producer Ibukun Ayanlere; Terry King; and a posthumous award to Rev. Dr. Amos Olantunde Ayanlere.

The competitive "Viral Moment of the Year" award went to bassist Kester Dave. All recipients received an ICE award and citation for their achievements.

For the organisers, Band Experience is about building skills and people. They believe that music can shape character, discipline, and leadership.
