Sellas Tetteh prepares for another crack at the African Youth Championship with a pre-competition test against Italian side, Novara on Monday.
The game at 15:00 GMT will be the Black Satellites' first since arriving in Italy last Thursday and it comes after five important training sessions.
The test game against the Italian Serie B side, who have two Ghana internationals; Mohammed Alhassan and Ahmed Barruso in their set-up is the first European test match lined up as Sellas runs the rule on his squad.
Sellas Tetteh will lead Ghana to the finals in Algeria this month. He guided the Black Satellites to the 2009 African Youth Championship title.
Meanwhile as the Black Satellites near the end of their tour of Italy, senior Ghana internationals have visited the team.
Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and Novara's duo of Alhassan and Barruso have all checked up on their juniors.
They interacted with members of the Black Satellites and encouraged them ahead of their competition in Algeria.
