Renowned film producer and director Shirley Frimpong Manso has once again showed that she's a force to reckon with when it comes to delivering a masterpiece in the movie industry.

Few months ago, the director announced that she's hitting locations again with her crew and cast many of whom were merely new and yet to have their big shot in the movie industry. After auditioning these individuals and hitting the set to deliver on this project, the end results is simply incredible.

On Friday 29th November 2024 , many movie lovers in the UK came to enjoy the movie which had its first premiere in some selected Cinemas in the UK including the Odeon Imax Cinemas in London.

Shirley as usual assembled some of the very best you can think of in executing this project including major actors like Rita Dominic, Gloria Sarfo, Akrobeto Akwasi Boadi.

Others were Chiderah David, Jessica Larny, Araba Dansowaa, Akosua Agyapong, Arion Amon, Gideon Kojo Boakye, Adomaa Adaom, Dean Louis, Sena Fafali Ahiable, Michael Katahena, and Abla Sena.

Speaking at the premiere, Shirley Frimpong Manso emphasized on the need to continue pushing  for quality and brilliant stories that will impact society in many ways. She also touched on the reason to explore talents beyond known faces to ensure we keep the movie industry growing.

In ‘Two of a Kind’, Rita Dominic plays a resort owner who is grappling with her own grief while trying to fix the broken marriage of a young couple who are celebrating their first anniversary at her resort. 

However, things are not as they seem. As the anniversary unfolds, secrets are revealed and the couple’s relationship is put to the test and the arrival of their friends adds more pressure. For the resort owner, saving their love becomes a battle against her inner battles—ones that could either heal or shatter her

Some of the cast also expressed their excitement to be a part of such a movie and encouraged film producers to continue to do their best for the growth of the movie industry in Ghana and Africa at large.

Shirley Frimpong Manso is a celebrated and award-winning Ghanaian writer, producer, director who's has got a lot of movies to her credit.

The movie 'ONE OF A KIND' which is directed by Shirley Frimpong Manso and produced by Ken Attoh, is set to premiere in Ghana at the Silverbird Cinemas at both West Hills Mall & Accra Mall from Friday 20th December 2024 after the hugely successful premiere in the UK.
