Silver Star Auto Ltd (SSAL), the Market leader in Premium Luxury cars in Ghana, has held a grand ceremony in Accra to launch the much-awaited Mercedes-Benz 2020 models.
The models unveiled included the Mercedes-Benz GLE, GLC SUV’s, the GLC Coupé and the A-Class Sedan.
The star of the event was the exciting and a first of its kind in Ghana, Mercedes AMG GT 4 Door Coupé 63S.
The new 2020 models have received an extensive design overhaul both on the interior and exterior with cutting edge technology features. They are now more luxurious and better equipped with exclusive MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) which makes driving more intuitive, comfortable, safe as well as being fun.
The new Mercedes-Benz 2020 models usher in a new era of connectivity at the same time. They have as options touch screen operation of the media display, navigation display through smartphone integration, intelligent voice control and natural speech recognition which is activated with ‘HEY MERCEDES’.
Some of the other exciting options include 24-inch high-resolution screen, 64 Color ambient lighting, intelligent headlights with 84 LED lights and parking assist amongst a host of many Intelligent Drive features.
The flagship Silver Star Tower showroom of SSAL was transformed into an auto display centre during the launch and guests were entertained to scintillating music.
There was also a raffle draw with one lucky winner given the opportunity to visit the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Germany courtesy of Silver Star Auto.
The CEO of SSAL, Mr. Asad Nazir congratulated management and staff of Silver Star Auto for its commitment to representing Mercedes-Benz, a leading German brand, in Ghana for over two decades. He underscored the importance of introducing these new models of Mercedes-Benz vehicles unto the Ghanaian market as a way of widening its customer appeal while providing exceptional value to its customers through services of the highest standards.
The Executive Director of SSAL, Mr. Nouhad Kalmoni thanked Silver Star Auto’s numerous customers appreciating their business over the 23 years of Silver Star Auto’s inception. He assured clients of quality After-Sales service touting that SSAL strives to give clients the best vehicle life and ownership experience by providing genuine spare parts required to meet the repair, maintenance and the efficient delivery of vehicle manufacturer’s warranty.
Standard Chartered Bank made a special presentation highlighting their various financing options available to allow interested customers drive away the new models being launched.
Mr Bossman Kwapong, Head, Products and Segments, Retail Bank of Standard Chartered Bank Ghana, said their bank has over the years offered a banking solution to Silver Star Auto and it is offering the best financing options to clients to enable them to acquire any Mercedes-Benz model of their choice.

General Manager for Passenger Vehicles, Mr. Francis Johnny Amegayibor emphasized that, as modern-day technology makes vehicles more sophisticated, the company constantly invests in updating its technical staff all in a bid to spur quality after-sales service.
Sales Manager for Mercedes-Benz brand, Mr Rabie Agha emphasized that “Customers should expect a more tailored and swift Customer Service Delivery experience” from the sales team.

Mercedes-Benz he touted, is the best-selling premium car brand in the world and has retained this flattering title year on year.
