Silver Star Auto has officially launched the Peugeot 3008 SUV and the Peugeot Landtrek pickup, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and growth within Ghana’s automotive industry.
Speaking at the launch, General Manager of Silver Star Auto, Rabie Agha, highlighted the true essence and strength of the two models. He described them as vehicles designed to meet the evolving needs of the Ghanaian market. Mr. Agha noted that the introduction of the Peugeot 3008 and the Landtrek pickup reflects Silver Star Auto’s dedication to innovation, durability, and modern automotive solutions tailored to local conditions.

"Peugeot is made with three lifestyle, thorough design, smart technology and comfort. It reflects the hardworking Ghanaian spirit, strong and dependable, ready for business, adventure and every road in-between."

Addressing the media, Sales and Brand Manager, Harriet Asafo Agyei, emphasized the value-for-money proposition of the newly launched vehicles. She explained that the Peugeot 3008 and Landtrek are locally assembled, a move that has significantly reduced their overall cost by lowering VAT and other applicable taxes. According to her, this approach makes the vehicles more affordable and accessible to customers.

"We pushed our suppliers to get these vehicles locally assembled just like the government has instituted. Because this is a semi-knocked down vehicle, there are some taxes which are taken out, making our vehicles more affordable," she noted.

The launch underscores Silver Star Auto’s broader vision to support Ghana’s automotive sector through local assembly, competitive pricing, and the delivery of high-quality vehicles that align with customer expectations and national industrial goals.
