Slamm Technologies Ghana, a trusted IT firm with its headquarters in the USA, has launched a series of engaging events over the weekend to commemorate its 5th anniversary, celebrating its journey of innovation and growth.
The celebration kicked off on Friday, September 20, 2024, with an Open House event at its office on Dome Pillar 2 Road, near Koforidua House Junction. The Open House offered an opportunity for clients, partners, employees and the community to connect with the SLAMM team, explore new developments, and engage in a variety of activities including resume-building workshops, indoor games, and a delightful dining experience.
Reflecting on the company’s growth and impact over the past five years, Samuel Boateng, CEO of Slamm Technologies Ghana, shared his excitement. “This milestone is a testament to our commitment to excellence and innovation in the technology sector. We have grown tremendously, and it has been a privilege to serve our clients and contribute to Ghana’s digital transformation. We’re grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey, and we look forward to achieving even greater heights in the years to come.”

The celebrations continued on Saturday, September 21st, with a friendly football match that brought together staff and some clients, and partners. Held at Alajo Astro Turf, the match cultivated a spirit of camaraderie and teamwork, showcasing the strong relationships Slamm has built over the years. The event concluded with a jama session and a mini kenkey party, providing a moment of relaxation and fun for all participants.

The anniversary celebrations concluded with a thanksgiving service on Sunday, September 22nd, at the Makarios Church in East Legon, Accra. It was a time of gratitude and reflection, honoring the company’s journey and the contributions of those who have been part of its success.

Following the service, a celebratory event was held at the company’s premises. Mrs. Boateng took the opportunity to commend and express her gratitude to each staff member for their dedication, hard work, and support in driving the organization’s growth. Staff members then shared their personal "Slamm stories”, and the festivities culminated with a cake-cutting ceremony to mark the special occasion.
