Former President John Dramani Mahama was at the Supreme Court today for the second hearing of his election petition.
The NDC's flagbearer is praying the court to order a re-run of the December 7, 2020, election between himself and President Akufo-Addo.
After the first petition was filed with some errors, the Supreme Court gave his lawyers permission to rectify the mistakes.
But ahead of the second hearing, some social media users took to various platforms to troll the former President for new errors in a second motion praying the Supreme Court to ask the EC to admit to errors made during the declaration of the election results on December 9.
Below are some social media reactions on the second hearing of 2020 election petition.
"Lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata used 36 minutes to argue his case. Lawyer Justin Amenuvor used just 3 minutes to dismantle it.

Tsatsu Tsikata conjured all the big words and legal gimmicks for a whole 4 hours today and the Supreme Court Judges were not impressed and dismissed his Interrogatories. But NDC supporters are happy nonetheless with their #PetitionOfErrorsPart2 .

It pains me that KUMAWOOD is no more functional, like by now they do a movie titled PETITION ERRORS PART 1 & 2

Every objective person would agree that Tsatsu Tsikata was being condescending with his submissions. We know he lectured most of the judges but man should respect the bench.

When it comes to law, Tsatsu Tsikata is a GOAT.. He's a national asset that needs to be protected at all cost

Same thing happened in 2012. And they still declared Mahama as winner n history will repeat itself again..

By their nature, with election petitions, you cannot ask anything that will not lead to an answer of a question in the petition itself before the court.
— Kwaku Asante (@KwakuAsanteGH) January 19, 2021
That's why today's application by Mahama's lawyers for the EC to answer certain questions was bound to fail;...
Even the justices will learn from Tsatsu Tsikata.

Interesting days ahead!
Tsatsu Tsikata wanted to play smart on the judges to delay the process but it turned beans.😂#PetitionOfErrorsPart2 #electionpetition2020
