Prominent among the new faces to be seen in the Mahama government is Ekow Spio Garbrah who left government in 2001 as Minister for Education.
He was offered no appointment in the government of the late President John Evans Atta Mills.
Former National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential aspirant, Dr. Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, put his political career and other lucrative professional jobs on hold in order to devote more time to the service of God as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Action Chapel International.
He is also a former CEO of the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation based in London.
The impending reshuffle is also expected to see the return of the likes of Enoch Teye Mensah and Alban Bagbin to government as Ministers. Until recently, the two were among President Mahama's 'Three Wise Men.: They were both Cabinet Ministers in the government of the late President John Evans Atta Mills.
The New Statesman can also report that current ministers who are to leave the Mahama government entirely include Minister for Food and Agriculure, Clement Kofi Humadu, and Minister for Health, Sherry Ayitey. While Mr Ayitey is said to have informed the president about her desire to stay out of public life, Mr Humado's will be a complete dismissal, occasioned by his alleged involvement in the GYEEDA scandal.
