The late Mr. Coker, aged 70, will be laid to rest following a state burial and memorial service scheduled for Friday, August 1, 2025, at the Forecourt of the State House, Osu–Accra.
The ceremony is expected to draw high-profile mourners from government, clergy, traditional authorities, and the extended family.
The service will begin with file past and tributes at 7 a.m., with the interment to follow privately. Mourners are requested to wear black attire.
A thanksgiving service in memory of the late Mr. Coker will take place on Sunday, August 3, at the Calvary Methodist Church in Adabraka, Accra, starting at 10 a.m. Attire for the thanksgiving is black and white.
Mr. Coker is survived by his widow, Mrs. Carole Coker (née Thompson), their child Jody Ade Coker, and three grandchildren.
The family, in a statement, extended a heartfelt invitation to all friends and sympathisers to join them in honouring the life and legacy of their beloved.
