Ex Black Stars Captain Stephen Appiah is hoping for an extended deal from Vojvodina in the Serbian league after inspiring the side to retaining their top flight status.
Appiah joined Vojvodina four months to the end of last season but was instrumental to the team’s survival campaign as his spectacular goal against Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade was adjudged goal of the Serbian league last season.
The 29 year old hopes his performance last season will earn him an extended deal to stay in Serbia.
“I couldn’t believe giving that performance for the club”.
“I went there, gave my best and the president of the club wants me to sign a new deal”.
