The sterling performance of the country’s largest licensed cocoa buyer, Produce Buying Company is expected to dominate discussions as the company takes its turn at the bourse’s facts behind the figures session today.
The company saw a substantial growth in all its areas of operations and financials for last year. Its revenue grew by some 45 percent from 437.4 to 634 million Ghana cedis, whilst its net profit grew by 172 percent.
Its share price on the other hand has been stagnating over the months and is currently trading 18 pesewas.
The company is expected to use the meeting to explain to investors the reasons behind the permanence, as well as measures to bring some excitement into the trading of its share price.
