Striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom has been reinstated in Ghana’s starting line-up for Sunday’s FIFA U20 World Cup quarter-final clash against Chile.
The Juventus star was the hero in the Black Satellites Round of 16 clash against Portugal when he scored a late free-kick to steal a 3-2 in Kayseri.
He replaces Kennedy Ashia who scored the opener with a stunning long-range shot in Ghana’s last match.
Head coach Sellas Tetteh has stuck to his back line made up of Richmond Nketiah, Lawrence Lartey, Joseph Attamah and Baba Rahman.
Siedu Salifu and Clifford Aboagye will be in the middle with Moses Odjer and Frank Acheampong on the wings.
The winner of the match will meet France, who thrashed Uzbekistan 4-0 on Saturday, in the semi-final on Wednesday.
