Tesano Spinners maintained their top spot on the National Table Tennis League after edging out Team Bamboo 3-1 on match week seven at the D.G. Hathiramani Sports Hall of the Accra Stadium on Sunday.
The league Leaders are being given a run for their money by Ghana Immigration Service (GIS), who are lurking just below with only two points difference.
The GIS thrashed Western Table Tennis team by 3-0 in their first game before securing all points for the day with another 3-0 win over Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) in the second round of matches.
Result for the first round men matches are as follow; King's Royal Academy 1-3 Ghana Revenue Authority, Immigration 3-0 Western Table Tennis, Fire Service 0-3 Smartline at Emefs, Navy 0-3 Ghana Police, Eastern Loopers 3-0 Synergy T.T Club, Ashanti Otumfuo Stars 3-0 Team Coach Addo, Team Bamboo 1-3 Tesano Spinners and Ghana Army 3-0 Madina Stars.
Meanwhile, in the second round matches, Immigration humiliated GRA by 3-0 whereas Smartline at Emefs also defeated Western Table Tennis Club by 3-0.
The following are the remaining results; King's Royal Academy 0-3 Ghana Police, Fire Service 3-0 Synergy T.T Club, Ashanti Otumfuo Stars 3-2 Madina Stars, Navy 3-0 Ashaiman Club, Eastern Loopers 3-0 Team Coach Addo and Team Bamboo 0-3 Army.
