A circuit court at Juaso granted bail in the sum of 10 million cedis to two teenagers accused of gambling.
Benjamin Kofi Owusu, 17, who pleaded guilty with explanation, and Kennedy Owusu, 19, who pleaded not guilty would re-appear before the court on May 4.
Police Inspector Mike Frtiz Bekoe told the court presided over by Jacob Boon that on April 16, around 12 noon, the police at Agogo had a tip off that a group of teenagers were gambling at Domeabra near Juansa.
The prosecutor said when the police got to the scene, they spotted a group of young men playing cards but bolted leaving the cards immediately the saw the security personnel.
Inspector Bekoe said the police found on the suspects some cards and money when they were apprehend.Source: GNA
