The final phase of the Inter Allied Sports Consult soccer camp will begin on Thursday, February 18 at the Tema Sports Stadium.
The three-day exercise, organised in collaboration with France-based sports firm Noga Sport Management, is aimed at unearthing talented players for European Clubs.
Omar El-Eter, Chief Executive Officer of Inter Allied Sports Consult told GNA Sports that 48 players selected from top leagues of seven West African countries will be participating in the rigorous exercise.
He said players who make the mark will be signed on by Spanish La Liga sides namely Barcelona, Sevilla, Athletico Madrid and Malaga, who are represented at the event by their scouts.
El-Eter explained that his outfit in partnership with his French counterpart, Olivier Noah, have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the respective Clubs, which gives players the license to join the respective clubs outright without subject to trials.
He added that 10 players will be selected after the exercise, which will come of in the form of friendly matches against lower division sides.
Various scouts from top notch European clubs are also in the country for the event, which ends on Saturday, February 20, 2010.
The Chief Executive Officer observed that his outfit intends to make the soccer camp an annual affair, with two camps.
The first phase of the Soccer Camp lasted from Saturday, February 13 to Monday, February 15 at the Presec Park, Legon.
The second phase which ended on Wednesday, February 16 was also held at the Tema Stadium.
