The Tema Traditional Council has commended the commissioning of the 97 km long Tema-Mpakadan Railway line.
According to the spokesperson of the council, Nii Shipii Amarh, transport and communication play an integral role in the development and progress of any nation, and such an improvement in the transport sector will further enhance the economic development of the country.
“It’s a great event. You know transport and communication play a very important role in any nation’s development, so such an improvement in the transport sector will go a long way to enhance the economic development,” he stated.
He also added that, although the country is facing challenges with transport issues and chaotic traffic difficulties, he believes the commissioning of the project will help reduce such challenges.
