The Seed Funds Savings and Loans Limited (TSF) organized a clean-up exercise at Kaneshie Market to mark the company’s fourth anniversary.
The occasion brought about 150 participants from all branches of the Company and some members from the Accra Metropolitan Assembly.
The initiative was intended to give back to the community through the clean-up exercise and to help promote environmental hygiene.
The staffs were divided into two groups to clean different areas. The first group cleaned the Kaneshie Lorry station while the second group cleaned from the TSF Kaneshie branch to the Kaneshie Police station.
All two groups’ desilted gutters, weeded and swept their various locations to keep a clean and healthy environment for the people living in and around the Kaneshie market.
Speaking during the exercise, the CEO of TSF, Albert Mmegwa noted that as a socially responsible company, it is committed to promoting good environmental practices.
“This exercise will not be a nine-day wonder. As has always been our tradition, The Seed Funds will continue to support the communities in which we operate”.
“We are hopeful that this exercise becomes a daily routine to ensure a clean, safe and a healthy environment for us all,” he added.
