Striker Asamoah Gyan has indicated that, he is the natural leader of the Black Stars and believes when he plays well, the entire team will flourish.
The 26 year old who plays his club football in the United Arab Emirates with Al Ain is confident his tournament has just taken off with the free kick he expertly converted against Mali last Saturday.
“The team play around me and they have really supported me a lot although my game is not what I want but I will still fight hard for us to go places”. He told JOY Sports
Asamoah added that, he is optimistic of a quarter-final place for the black stars after their impressive 2-0 win against Mali.
