“Koku was our District Secretary and throughout my ministry, he is about one of the best secretaries we’ve had.
“Looking at his work schedule and the workload on him, he did everything in perfection. He was so dependable. You needed him and he was there,” he stated.
He added, “At times in the afternoon, I will call him, ‘Elvis, I know you are hot but we have to do this.’ He will say ‘Daddy, wait for me.’ Within 30 minutes he will send it to me. Every correspondence is written by him.”
According to him, the news of the death of Mr Kwashie was both unexpected and shocking.
“Such are the things of God. The fact is that everyone will die, you cannot escape it,” he added.
In view of this, Reverend Blantyne further preached that life humans should practice humility.
He urged all and sundry to emulate the exemplary lifestyle of the late Manger.
“Today as we stand at the funeral of our brother, elder, our beloved, I want to put two things before you and ask you to choose one; life and death.”
