In its bid to create greater efficiency in the hospital’s functions and reducing patients' wait time, the Trust Hospital Company Limited has launched a new website.
By this, patients queuing to see a doctor and coming all the way from home to the hospital to book an appointment will be a thing of the past.
The website features a detailed description of the hospital’s services which includes cardiology, plastic surgery, dialysis, dietetics, DNA, General Surgery, and neurosurgery.
Speaking at the launch of the website, the General Manager, Medical, of the Trust Hospital, Dr. Darius Osei, said website is designed using simple yet engaging modern technology in healthcare communication to enable their clients experience the easiest way to access their services.
“We have placed a lot of emphasis on our appointment portal. Clients who want to see any specialist do not have to come all the way to the hospital to book an appointment. You need any communication device and access to Internet, which is almost accessible by most people in Ghana presently” he added.
Dr. Osei noted that, clients have access to a myriad of tools to make their interactions with Hospital’s staff and facilities easy.
“The online appointment Portal is a one-stop destination for all appointment in any of the clinics i.e. Physician Specialist, Gynae, Well woman, Pediatrician, etc,” he stated.
“Also the website will serve as a source for the latest hospital news such as new services, clinics, events, expansions and facility upgrades, new service coming to any of our satellite clinics, and available job opportunities. For ease of navigation, we have grouped all our services into alphabetical order to help clients locate the clinic or service they want to access. Information about all our nine facilities can also be accessed on the website”, he noted.
Dr. Osei was optimistic the introduction of the website will help improve their relation with both their existing and prospective clients.
