Playwright Uncle Ebo Whyte takes over the stage with an emotional yet hilarious story set in a church.
His new play for this quarter, 'Takeover' intricately weaves a tale of greed, integrity, and the unwavering love of a father for his wayward child.
The play shows on the 5th , 6th , 7th , 12th , 13th and 14th July, 2024 at the National Theatre.
Show times are: Fridays (one show only) at 7 pm; Saturdays (two shows only) at 4 pm and 8 pm and Sundays (three shows) at 1 pm, 4 pm and 8 pm.
There is total panic and chaos when Apostle Godson returns from surgery; His daughter, Mary, sparks uproar on social media with explicit videos; while within his own church, two of his subordinates orchestrate a takeover. How will he reclaim her tarnished reputation and confront the wolves disguised as sheep within his flock?
