The University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) has called off its three-week old industrial action for improved conditions of service and outstanding allowances.
UTAG president Dr. Samuel Asiedu Addo disclosed on Asempa FM Friday afternoon that an emergency UTAG executive meeting Friday decided to end the strike.
The lecturers are consequently to return to their lecture halls on Monday.
The strike has left campuses largely deserted.
