The suspended General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), says his over two years suspension is too long and unconstitutional.
Kwabena Agyapong says the party's constitution did not envisage its General Secretary being absent for too long and he is hopeful good sense will prevail.
Speaking at the recent Extra Ordinary delegates conference in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region on Sunday, he said, "I am happy for myself and I am happy for the heart that I have."
He said it is not the case that he has refused to apologise as some have said because he has not done anything wrong to apologise for.
"I want to be honest...nobody has proved any wrong I have done..." he said.
