Vodafone has introduced a new call plan that gives customers an ultra-low rate of 1 pesewa (GHS 0.01).
The 138 Plan gives pre-paid customers superior value for money spent with special call rates every day of the week. Catering to the different call needs and lifestyles of its customers, this call plan also allows customers to make on-net calls at only 3gp (GHS 0.03) per minute during weekends.
Furthermore, customers who sign onto the 138Plan also enjoy a flat rate of 8gp a minute (GHS 0.08) to Vodafone numbers and all other networks.
By dialing 8080 to register for this plan, customers will automatically be able to access the 8gp tariff, and once they spend 50gp during the day, they will unlock the 1gp tariff between the hours of 9-11pm and 5-7a.m. To access the weekend tariff of 3gp, customers need to spend GHC 2.50 on the network during the week. To help customers determine how much they have spent in the day to enjoy the 1gp tariff, they will be required to dial *126.
The 138 Plan is designed to allow customers to get more out of their call credit, and also allows them to get more value for money since it gives them the opportunity to call at very affordable and low rates. The 138 plan is part of Vodafone’s commitment to always provide unparalleled, relevant products and services to maintain the growing needs and expectations of its customers.
Speaking about this initiative, the head of Corporate Communications, Carmen Bruce-Annan explained that “Vodafone as a brand is synonymous with value. It is in line with this, that we have introduced the 138 Plan, aiming to maximise value for our customers. We want the credit our customers purchase to go the extra mile, and make every pesewa count
