WBC/WBA welterweight and super welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather and former champion Marcos Maidana faced off at the final press conference on Wednesday for their showdown on Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The mood seemed somewhat muted due to heat Floyd has received from some in the press over comments he made on the Ray Rice situation. Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe admonished the press over the treatment Floyd’s been getting.
