Ghanaian entertainment powerhouse, Loggy Entertainment, has signed an exclusive agreement with the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of the University of Ghana to organise two major events during the 2025 SRC Week Celebration.
Known for its impressive track record in both local and international entertainment production, Loggy Entertainment will spearhead the much-anticipated Heroes Night and Artist Night as part of the week-long festivities.
Per the agreement, Heroes Night will take place on Thursday, August 14, with Artist Night following on Saturday, August 16.
Both events promise top-tier production, major performances, and a vibrant experience for students, with some of Ghana’s biggest artists expected to take the stage.
Speaking at the official signing ceremony held on campus, CEO of Loggy Entertainment, Prince Nana Boakye Yiadom, expressed gratitude and excitement over the partnership.
“It’s not easy for a school like Legon to invite you to be part of their SRC Week. That alone shows that with Loggy Entertainment, we’re doing something right.
My only assurance to the school and the SRC is this: we will give you a memorable event—something to talk about long after it’s over,” he said.
SRC President Nana Yaw Adjei Yeboah Maradona, popularly known as Guru, also expressed his enthusiasm, calling the partnership a key step towards a successful celebration.
“We are here to formalise our agreement and ensure we deliver an unforgettable experience,” he noted.
Loggy Entertainment is no stranger to large-scale events.
In December last year, the company staged the first edition of Event of the Year in Kumasi—an electrifying night featuring Ghanaian legends and contemporary stars such as the late Daddy Lumba, Black Sherif, Kofi Kinaata, Fameye, King Paluta, Wendy Shay, and many more.
With preparations already underway, the 2025 UG SRC Week promises to be one for the books
