Wembley Sports Construction Company Limited has celebrated its 10th anniversary since operations in Ghana commenced.
Since the establishment of the company, over 200 Astro turfs have been constructed across the country.
Wembley Sports Construction began its journey about a decade ago with the construction of the Wembley Sports complex in Kotobabi.

The company shot to the limelight when former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, engaged them to build an AstroTurf for his alma mater, Accra Academy.
The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Robert Tetteh Coleman, says he is happy to have chalked a great milestone that has seen him contribute to the development of talent.
"10 years is a very historic moment for me. I am extremely happy and excited that I have been able to chalk this milestone," he told Joy Sports during the event on Saturday.

"Looking at the vision I had, the fact that we have been able to change the perception about astro turfs in the last 10 years, I am extremely excited."
Coleman also adds that he will continue to ensure there are enough pitches to help unearth more talents in the country.
"The vision is very huge. I believe strongly that next year we should be able to do more," he added.
In attendance at the anniversary celebration were former Black Stars players, including Augustine Arhinful, Laryea Kingston, CK Akonnor, Stephen Appiah, Kwame Ayew and Emmanuel Armah 'Senegal.'

Brand ambassador of Wembley Sports Construction Company Limited, Stephen Appiah lauded the idea of Robert Coleman to make quality pitches available for young players to also develop themselves.
"If we didn't have astroturf in Ghana [before the 2021 U20 AFCON], the players would have found it difficult to win the competition," Appiah said.

"They trained here, went [to Mauritania] and won the cup. Coleman is doing very well."
As part of celebrations for the milestone, Coleman brought together widows and orphans to share in his joy.
He also rewarded some of the workers of the company with citations during the event.
