Black Stars head coach Avram Grant wants expectations to be measured as he prepares his team for this month’s AFCON tournament in Equatorial Guinea.
The Isreali trainer is currently in Spain where he is preparing the Black Stars for the 30th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana is chasing her fifth Nations Cup trophy and this wait spans three decades.
According to Grant he wants to win the tournament more than any Ghanaian
“I must says Ghanaians are very realistic about this, of course they want us to win but we want to win more than anybody we are not going into the game wanting to lose,” said the Israeli trainer
“But I think it is a good thing because if you look at all the successful teams they build themselves and that is exactly what we have started and I think it will be good for Ghana.
“I want to win more than anybody because i will not go into a game with the desire to lose, with the support of Ghanaians and the Football Federation I know things will go well.”
