A Deputy Sports Minister who was reassigned to the Ashanti Region is thanking President John Mahama for his unmerited mercies by first appointing him and sending him back to his roots.
Joseph Yammin was reshuffled as Deputy Minister of Sports shortly after a botched world cup campaign in Brazil which saw Ghana crash out with just a point and languishing at the bottom of Group G which had Portugal, Germany and US as other Group members.
His substantive minister was also reshuffled to the presidency.
Some critics including Kweku Baako Jnr have blamed the ministry for poor organisation at the World Cup and wanted the minister and his deputy sacked.
He was disappointed by the decision of the president to reassign the two.
While others frown in anger at the decision, Yammin is glowing in ecstasy by his reassignment to the Ashanti Region.
He took to facebook showering praises to God and to Mahama for their mercies.
