Management of the company said that they had also acquired other new equipments including road sweepers and washers, skip trucks and water tankers to meet international cleaning standards but particularly ease their burden as they get ready to battle any sanitation issues during Ghana 2008.
Greater Accra Regional supervisor of the company, Robert Coleman, noted that the greatest challenge the company was facing was the issue of landfill sites, explaining that the company’s truck drivers had to spend hours at such sites to dispose off refuse; a problem that was affecting their performance in the early disposal of waste material.
