The Ɔdadeɛ 95 Year Group of Presbyterian Boys Secondary School-Legon handed over a solar lighting project worth over GH₵200,000 to improve visibility and security at the school’s main entrance.
The project, unveiled during the group’s 30-year reunion celebration, is expected to provide reliable, year-round illumination at the PRESEC-Legon gate, enhancing safety for students, staff, and visitors.

Speaking to the media, President of the Ɔdadeɛ 95 Year Group, Dr. Steven Amanor, said the initiative forms part of efforts to give back to the school while promoting sustainable energy solutions.
“This project ensures climate resilience and sustainability, and it is only one of several initiatives we have planned as PRESEC approaches its 90th anniversary,” he said.

The event also served as a moment of reflection and celebration, as members of the year group returned to their alma mater three decades after leaving.
Amid the singing of the school anthem and familiar tunes, the alumni were briefed on the school’s growth, with student population now exceeding 6,000.

Headmaster David Odjidja expressed appreciation for the gesture, noting that the intervention has transformed the school’s frontage.
He said the project not only improves infrastructure but also demonstrates the enduring commitment of the Ɔdadeɛ fraternity to the development of the institution.

For the Ɔdadeɛ 95 alumni, the initiative represents more than a reunion gesture, it is a lasting investment in the future of PRESEC-Legon and a call for current students to embrace service, innovation, and responsibility.
