This year’s Top 4 competition is scheduled to kick off on the 26th of August and end on the 3rd of September.The competition which would be structured around an all play all basis will feature traditional arch rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak with Medeama Sporting Club and Ashgold being the other two participants.This was confirmed exclusively to Joy Sports by the Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association Alhaji Ali Raji on JoySports Flagship programme Sports Night.“After various discussions with all the stakeholders, we have agreed to hold this year’s competition beginning the 26th of next month (August) to the 3rd Of September.“It will be an all play all competition where Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Accra Hearts of Oak, Medeama Sporting Club and Ashgold will take part.”He also confirmed that this season’s competition would be named after former FA Vice President Jordan Anagblah who passed away a couple of weeks ago.“This year’s competition is to be named after Mr Anagblah for his hard work and contribution towards Ghana Football”.The Top 4 Competition is an off-season tourney that traditionally prepares clubs involved in the various African Club competitions and the League proper. It also aims to boost the kitty of qualified clubs financially to prepare for the season ahead.
