Twellium Company Limited, producers of Verna Mineral Water and Rush Energy Drink, has boosted preparations for the 2025 Democracy Cup with donations to Hearts of Oak and Great Olympics.
The company presented cartons of water and energy drinks to Hearts at their Pobiman training base on Thursday morning, before making a similar donation to Olympics at the McDan La Town Park later in the day.

The two Accra rivals clash in the second edition of the Democracy Cup at the University of Ghana Stadium on Friday, September 5.

The annual tournament, organised by Parliament, uses football as a tool to celebrate Ghana’s democratic journey.
Players and staff of both clubs expressed appreciation to Twellium for the gesture, which they described as timely ahead of the much-anticipated fixture.

Business Development Manager of Twellium, Priscilla Awumey, explained the company’s decision to support the competition.
“When we heard about the upcoming Democracy Cup, we knew we couldn’t sit this one out,” she said.
“In football, we all know that when it comes to training, you need water, you need energy. So we brought some Verna and Rush energy drinks to nourish the players. At the end of the day, may the best team win.”
