Police officers at Avenor Junction were overwhelmed to see a steady stream of motorbike riders and mourners on the street leading to Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra.

Scores of young men and women, motor riders and Rastafarians took over the streets last Saturday in solidarity with the death of their friend, who died through fatal motor accident on Dome Ofankor road last April.

The  funeral of the 37-year old Joseph Kojo Alacham also known as Obrafour caused a traffic jam for commuters using the Avenor- Circle stretch.

In their foolhardy display of lawlessness, one motor rider crashed on the asphalt road and was rushed to a health center.
