Pastor Stephen Barfour Awuah, Alajo District Pastor of Christ Apostolic Church International, has called on government to take a bold stand to prevent the practice of homosexuality and lesbianism in the country
He said the acts are abominable to God and if accepted it would spiritually affect the nation’s progress.
Pastor Barfour Awuah who made the appeal in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Accra asked religious leaders to pray for national peace.
As part of its aim to enhance the education and the health standard of its members, the Church has set up an educational scholarship scheme for brilliant but needy students and also sponsored the aged for the National Health Insurance Scheme while establishing a Bible School to promote evangelism, Pastor Barfour Awuah said.
