The Tema Police Command has assured the general public of its preparedness to re-arrest the three remand prisoners who broke cell at the Fishing Harbour Police station over the weekend.
The three, Ebenezer Nyagbedzi, 19, Eliasu Mohammed and Daniel Kwame Kumi, both 20, were said to have escaped through the ceiling of the cell at about 0045 hours on Saturday morning.
Corporal Joseph Barabu, Assistant Public Relations Officer for the Tema Police Command told the Ghana News Agency on Monday that officers were already on ground gathering information that would lead to their re-arrest.
Corporal Barabu however appealed to the public to volunteer information that would lead to their re-arrest as well as any information that could also lead to the apprehending of other criminals operating in the Tema Police Region.
He said the Command was prepared to adequately reward informants.
The Tema Police PRO said informants could contact the command on 0303202936, 0303202937 and Vodafon short code 183555.
