The Deeper Christian Life Ministry has ended its Special Miracle and Revival Service with lots of testimonies and thanksgiving to God for his mercies.
The two-day Miracle event brought together Christians within the southern sector which is made up of Greater Accra, Volta, Eastern, Central and Western regions to witness the wonders of God.
The Miracle service held at the Deeper Life Bible Church at Anyaa attracted tens of thousands of people from all walks of life most whom gave their lives to Christ.
The programme was a harvest of miracles, testimonies, signs and wonders and the multitude who attended exceeded the 80, 000 projection by the organizers.
Speaking at the event, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM) worldwide, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi said Christians must have faith in God because he is the redeemer of all afflictions.
Preaching under the theme: the faith of a desperate seeker, the renounced cleric underscored the need for Christians to remain faithful to God and not allow the fancy things on earth to sidetrack them to do evil.
"The world is sick because of sin but every problem on earth has its solution in heaven" he added.
Pastor Kumuyi bemoaned what he says is the modernization of Christianity which he says is leading many of flock of God astray.
When he prayed to bring the programme to a close, a number of people experienced the touch of God and other were healed from all kinds of sickness.
A man who claimed to have Diabetes for 10 years said he was healed instantly after Pastor Kumuyi prayed for him.
A woman who says she was due to have a goiter operation noted that she could not longer feel the goiter in her throat anymore.
A lot of people who did not have the opportunity to testify in front of the congregation shared their experiences with the media.
How Deeper Life was formed
In 1973, while serving as Maths Lecturer at The University of Lagos, W.F. Kumuyi started a Bible study group with 15 university students who had come to him requesting training in the Scriptures.
By the early 1980’s that small group had grown to several thousands, at which time Deeper Life Bible Church was formally established.
By 1988 the congregation had grown to 50,000, and now numbers 120,000 members, making it the third largest Christian church in the world.
