The Ghana Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) Foundation has rolled out a new initiative dubbed:'Time with the Scholars' to interact with beneficiaries of its scholarship scheme across the country.
This initiative is aimed at monitoring the progress of the students and to also motivate them to study hard and contribute postively to their communities.
The first ‘Time with the Scholars’ was held at the Takoradi Technical University in the Western region where the Executive Director of the GNPC Foundation, Dominic Eduah interacted with the over 60 beneficiaries about their progress and challenges.
He assured of prompt payment of their fees and allowances as they have set up a committee responsible for their welfare.
Mr. Eduah also encouraged the beneficiaries to study hard to contribute their quota to Ghana’s development.
The GNPC foundation Executive Director will be making similar visits to the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), University of Ghana (UG) and University of Development Studies (UDS).
