Bubbly singer MzVee turned up at the Klottey Korle Constituency in Accra, to lend support to Dr Zanetor Agyeman Rawlings’ bid to be the Parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Zanetor Rawlings, who is the current Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, is among some 524 aspirants gunning to become Parliamentary candidates of the NDC across 157 constituencies.
The MP, who is also the daughter of former president Jerry John Rawlings, shared a photo of the singer’s visit on Facebook.
“Thank you Mzvee for coming to lend your support to the cause #TogetherWeBuild,” she captioned the photo of them beaming with smiles.
NDC, Ghana’s largest opposition party, is voting Saturday to select those who will represent its constituencies in the 2020 election.
