The Ghana Education Service (GES) says it is working assiduously on the school placements for Junior High School leavers.
This comes after the release of Basic Education Certificate Education (BECE) results for 2019.
The West African Examination Councils (WAEC) said it has withheld the entire results of 2,497 candidates.
GES says the computerised school placement has begun and the Director-General of Education, Prof. Opoku Amankwa will address a presser on September 6, 2019.
Management, therefore, assures students, parents and the general public to remain calm after checking the results as GES works on the placements.
Meanwhile, Ghana Post has announced a new payment method where parents and students can now directly buy all WAEC e-vouchers on their mobile phones by dialing *447*160# across all networks.
With this new service, students and parents have the option of either going to Ghana Post’s various offices nationwide or buying the e-voucher on their phones.
