Super Morning Show Host, Daniel Dadzie has advised the youth to have the will to fight against the negative aspect of their various temperaments.
Speaking at Africans Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs Summit last Wednesday, he indicated that phlegmatic, choleric, melancholic, sanguine temperaments all have their shortcomings that must be worked on.
“The slowness and the dullness of a phlegmatic temperament will fight your ability to achieve anything which will tend to poverty,” he said.
He noted that “The liberties of a sanguine will drive you into disorganization, confusion and fleshly sin.”
The Super Morning Show host added that individuals with melancholic temperament often tend to be depressed and moody which affects their relationships with others and they should work to make the most of it.
“The hasty decisions of a choleric can lead you into rebellion,” he added.
Psychology has categorized human behaviour into four temperaments; sanguine, choleric, melancholic and phlegmatic.
The sanguine is enthusiastic, active, and social. Meanwhile, the choleric is often short-tempered, fast, and irritable. The melancholic on the other hand is analytical, wise, and quiet. Whilst phlegmatic is relaxed and peaceful.
Mr Dadzie acknowledged that it was not an easy task to change an attitude, however strong and positive effort will produce positive results.
“Fight the good fight to set aside your humanly inherited nature,” he said.
