LMI Holdings says its 22,000 acres at Dawa Industrial City in the Greater Accra region is uniquely placed to attract both domestic and foreign investors.
It said 2000 acres will be used for industrial purpose.
LMI Holdings and Ghana Free Zones Authority have agreed to demarcate 1000 acres out of the 2000 acres as a free zones enclave.
According to the Executive Director for LMI Holdings, Ernest Owusu-Afari, 200 acres will serve as a dedicated garment village for investors in that industry within the free zones enclave.
The Dawa industrial project in the Ningo-Prampram district is the biggest in the country.
This according to Owusu-Afari is meant to attract prospective investors across the globe with those in the textile industry being the latest.
With its own power substation, fibre broadband data facilities planned solar and water treatment projects, the park has unique benefits.
For Executive Director of LMI, Ernest Owusu-Afari, Dawa Industrial Park has an unparalleled match in the sub-region.
“LMI holdings and its subsidiaries have invested heavily in privately funded electricity distribution infrastructure. We own two of the largest distribution substations in the country and this qualifies our industrial estate to be able to accommodate industries of the largest industries,” he said.
Meanwhile, Mr Owusu-Afari is assuring investors including those in the textile industry of availability of raw materials in and outside Ghana.
“We can’t do everything but we are uniquely positioned to facilitate the work of specialized industries. We are ready for people to start their own factories,” he added.
The investors received first-hand information after asking questions relating to accommodation, power and labour.
