Kim Kardashian posted a photo on Instagram of herself and husband Kayne West sharing a tender moment at a party in 2018 — and among those not feeling the love is the photographer, who claims in a New York lawsuit that the star didn’t ask to use the image.
Photographer Saeed Bolden claims in a copyright infringement lawsuit that he took the sappy star snap of Kardashian and West in June 2018 during a listening party for Nas’ new album “Nasir.”
A few months later, Kardashian blasted out the photo her Insta fans, now numbering 157 million — and now Bolden, a Long Island-based photographer, claims that he’s entitled to unspecified damages for using his work.
Kardashian showed “willful, intentional, and purposeful, in disregard of and indifference to Plaintiff’s rights,” by posting the image, Bolden claims.
Bolden filed the lawsuit on Wednesday in Brooklyn federal court against both the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star and her underwear brand, Skims.
Kardashian’s agents and publicist did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request to comment.
Kardashian’s sister Khloe Kardashian was herself the target of a similar lawsuit filed in 2017 in Los Angeles federal court by a different photographer who snapped her with older sister Kourtney Kardashian leaving David Grutman’s Komodo restaurant in Miami.
Khloe Kardashian also posted that photo to her Instagram. In 2018, the parties in the case reached an undisclosed settlement.
