The Timken Company has announced the opening of a new office in Accra.
Founded in 1899, Timken designs, manufactures and sells high-quality bearings all over the world. The company delivers solutions for a wide range of industries.
The new office provides technical support, training and inspection for regional customers. A team of trained engineers with extensive application knowledge supports a professional sales team.
The Timken team will be supported by Drilling Supply Ghana, an authorized distributor serving the local market since 2012.
Drilling Supply Ghana will stock a full range of Timken products from ball bearings to tapered, spherical and cylindrical roller bearings and portfolio of related products to serve regional customers.
Timken uses this sales model around the world to help customers meet their production and business goals. Nicholas Yamoah, Regional Sales Manager - West Africa explained, “We are guided by core values such as safety, quality and ethical standards. Customers appreciate this approach.”
