On Valentine's Day, Stonebwoy released a love song, ‘Sobolo’, to celebrate the occasion.
However, unlike his usual studio recordings, this song was recorded live with the BHIM Nation Band.
Sobolo, produced by the BHIM band with assistance from music producer Kaywa, is a Highlife song inspired by veteran Highlife artiste, Dr Paa Bobo’s ‘Osobro Kyee’.
Stonebwoy since the release of the song had received good reviews from many music lovers across the world.
“I am Latina /European and just few months ago started listening to afrobeats and Highlife music and this one here is a masterpiece absolutely exquisite 🎶🎶🎵🎵👌ðŸ½,” one fan wrote on YouTube.
Another user, Marvis Ijenwa also wrote “I'm Nigerian but this is the most beautiful afrobeat live band performance I have ever seen. The feeling is magical.....â¤â¤â¤â¤â¤â¤â¤â¤.”
Aisha Azure also wrote “This is why I love your music. I wish you would get the opportunity to collaborate with BTS, a Korean boy band, you guys would make magic God bless you and your family Stonebwoy.”
For Kuukua Miriam she believes Stonebwoy needs to teach up and coming artiste his way of making music by opening a music school adding that “you do music so effortlessly with great passion..this is CLASSIC.”
