Take a wild guess. Who will come up with a performance and give it a title like Castle or Suicide? Which performer in Ghana will dare invite potential presidents to one venue and make fun of them? KSM!
Television promos have been running over the past couple of weeks about KSM's upcoming August 30 performance at the National Theatre titled Castle or Suicide.
When Showbiz contacted him last Tuesday, the undisputed King of Comedy summed it all up in these words, "when the political temperature starts heating up, it is my national duty to bring it down and the best way, I believe is through laughter and there is plenty of it in Castle or Suicide."
From what Showbiz gathered from KSM's personal assistant Gloria Gimba-Cudjoe, KSM is sizzling hot in this "sinfully hilarious" political comedy, the hottest since Politically Incorrect.
She described Castle or Suicide as "high-octane comedy powered by KSM's raw energy on stage."
"He delivers sharp and witty no holds barred political commentaries with his unique piercing humour and the fun does not end there, KSM is going to delight his audience with uproarious tales of the campaign season," she said, "the show is a hilarious account of the political process leading up to the elections."
KSM, as usual was tight lipped about the forthcoming show but had this to say, "I guarantee a minimum of 75 minutes of non-stop laughter."
After almost 18 months absence from the stage, KSM appears ready to set Accra ablaze to prove that he is still the Undisputed King of Comedy.
KSM's followers will agree that his shows are always well attended. From his very first performance in Ghana, The Saga of the Returnee, one can say that KSM has gotten better over the years, improving performance after performance.
Though some of his critics have said on a few occasions that he had not given them enough, he has never failed in his quest to thrill his audiences.
After that long break, the onus is on KSM to prove himself. Patrons are kindly advised to gird their loins to meet a comedian gone berserk.
